London & Middlesex Completed Lookup Requests / Re: 1891 lookup Patterson
« on: Wednesday 17 August 22 11:31 BST (UK)  »
Hello - thanks for your interesting message.  Have a photo of the shop 208 but says Pattison - sometime they changed from Patterson to Pattison!!!!!  Sorry don't have any records relating to the shop or staff.  Yes they did live at Derwent Road in London till moving down to Somerset about 1920.  Don't know anything about Fred's brother Arthur - interesting to hear they worked together.  Sadly Fred's sons have died so no one knows any more about it and have no paper work regarding the business only the photo of the shop 208.  What do you know about 17 Hardy Terrace please.  Thanks

Somerset / St Dunstan's church Somerton
« on: Monday 19 September 16 15:45 BST (UK)  »
Hello
I am looking for a photo of the first St Dunstan's Roman Catholic church in Somerton.  It was of a wooden construction  - from 1927 until the current stone one was built in 1965.  Has anyone got a photo of it - perhaps in a wedding photo?
Thanks
Angela  :)

Family History Beginners Board / Re: Sir Henry Burdett KCVO KCB 1847-1920

Hello
A friend of mine is researching one of Sir Henry Burdett's sons - Francis.  He was a catholic parish priest in Glastonbury, Somerset 1926 - 1928.  He is linked to the famous sculptor Eric Gill, who was commissioned by Fr Francis to do a sculpture of Madonna and Child for the first catholic church in Glastonbury - now known as the Burdett Madonna and child which is on display in Glastonbury Abbey.
Have you a photo of Francis please.
If you want to know more about Fr Francis let me know
from
Angela.
