Hello there, thanks for those thoughts and thanks for the reply. I did spot the name on the Coat of Arms on your post and I did wonder if you were a generic researcher or hopefully we had come across a 2nd cousin. Yes I am aware of your folks in Dublin , I called your Aunt last week to give her the news - just to let her know and I asked her to let your mom and your uncle know the news. I may have met your folks back in 1969 when we visited Dublin as a family (I was 7) and we still have the photographs taken by your uncle on that trip. I last saw your Aunt back in 1992.... but left such a good impression she had forgotten that particular visit ! Anyways it is lovely to make the connection and my sister is starting to document our family tree so it would be nice to keep in touch. Best wishes Eamon.

Hello , I am a Grandson of Patrick Rossiter and Mary Anne Byrne and myself and my cousin who spotted some web hits on our Grandparents would be happy to help on any research. My mom Theresa moved to England in 1948/49 followed by her sisters Christine and Caroline , Anne stayed in Eire - sadly mom passed away last week which is why we were doing our own bit of research on our ancestry for the Eulogy ......so if you want any help please get in touch. One thing that you appear to have missed in your searches is that as well as the 4 girls Patrick and Mary also had a son , also called Thomas , he died when the girls were all young probably in the 1late 1930's early 1940's .......It would be great to hear from you - thanks

Hello , a couple of hours ago I received an email from my cousin who had spotted our grandparents names on some web traffic - I worked out what the site was so have just registered

We would love to help both katherine75 and Genseacher complete any trails they have and we are keen to try and find out a bit more about our "lost family" as until 2 hours ago  did not know tha my grandmother had been married previously

I am new to this quirky site so just looking to help and be helped really ....
