Hi Waynus,

I don't have any photo's I'm afraid, it's my husband's tree and his sister probably has them somewhere.
I found Louisa and Charlie Marney were on the 1921 census alone, with no children.
Daughter Rosie was married to Benjamin Eastwood in 1930, but were living as man and wife by at least the 1921 census.

DNA would be the way forwards, being Travellers, I can't guarantee that Louisa didn't have other children with either Abraham or Charles, whether they survived or not, either, I really coudn't say.

Kind regards,
Debbie

Hi Waynus, I have an extensive Family Tree on Ancestry, MyHeritage etc.

Thomas Deakins and Rachel Franklin were my Husband's 2nd Great Grandparents and he has DNA tested, too.

Kind regards,
Debbie

Thank you for this information. The Deacons were from Surrey and Hampshire (so far, back to the 1760's), but my husband's DNA ethnicity shows historical connections to two distinct DNA communities in Ancestry: Iran/Persia and Northern India!

I also wondered about 'Cherry Island' when I came across it on Rachel Smith's 1911 census. Rachel was my husband's 2nd great aunt through Thomas 'Deakins' and Rachel Franklin.
His Deacons tree is public on Ancestry: 'DNA Linked: Deacons & James, Slade & Pilcher'.

Regards, Debbie  :)

Hi, reading with interest as Thomas Deacons and Rachel Franklin are my husband Paul Deacons' 2nd Great grandparents. I realise this is an old thread but Paul has recently DNA tested and I have added his Ancestry DNA test to MyHeritage and Gedmatch, too.
Regards, Debbie  :)

Oh! Thankyou Carole, I didn't even think of that, I thought it was just me, not seeing them.
I had a look at that link you kindly posted. Do you know if that mean the areas are not transcribed yet, or does it mean they're missing, missing? as in, will never know :(
Regards, Debbie.

Hi, I have looked for this person a LONGggggggg time ago on a different site, but am still none the wiser & feel there may be a whole family line missing... :/

I have an Anthony Blanchett bpt 1789 at Wootton Bassett, Wilts.
The next time I have come across him is the 1851 census with a wife, Rachel (Possibly from Woding? Berkshire)

I have Anthony's death cert for 1858 in Highgate, Edmonton. Rachel (wife) present.
Rachel died in Edmonton Union Workhouse, in 1880.

As much as I've tried, with as many variant spellings as possible, I cannot find them in 1841.
I have tried 'Blanchard' as well, although it's rare that my Blanchett's were recorded as Blanchard. If anything, the name started out as 'Blanket'.

Can anybody else see the couple in 1841? I have no idea where they were married or if they had any children  ???
Any fresh eyes would be really appreciated.

Here are the couple in 1851:
Name:   Anthony Blanchett
Age:   53
Relation:   Head
Spouse's Name:   Rachel Blanchett
Born:   Wootenbosse [Wootton Bassett]
Civil parish:   Hornsey
Ref: HO107 / pc 1702 / f 212 / pg 51

Thankyou Xx

And thank you Sillgen, yes, sometimes the family of Ruth & Thomas were recorded as 'Robinson', instead of Robertson.
Thank you both for contributing :)

Thankyou Carole, I was hoping for a lucky break, on the off-chance that anything extra had been added...
I do have John Hyland & Marianne or (Mary Ann)  siblings, as Ruth was with Mary Ann on one of the census returns.
Than k you anyway :)
