I have just come across these posts,,while searching the Bell family,,I read Harold helped to carry his brother out the mine..Harold bell was my Grandad,he was married to Violet...my mothers parents..who lived in western avenue, seaton delaval....

To verify if matthew lawsons mothers name was Isabelle Tunney, did Isabelle have any sisters and if she had and were married,could you please inform me of their names and husbands names..Thankyou

Thanks for all this informatiom,,we dont know the name of matthew lawsons mother..He had 2 sisters Elizabeth and margaret and a brother George..

Thanks for all this information,,My fathers, father ..matthew lawson was born 1891 and died 1951..he was born in seaton delaval.and had always lived there ..so im not sure if that family is the right one,,thanks

Re Mcmillan family..19 foremans row..seaton delaval..  I am also researching the Mcmillan family..My fathers mother was Elizabeth Mcmillan  who lived at that address as a child.She married matthew lawson,Looking for any information of the Mcmillan and Lawson family,,Thanks..Jenny
