HI Boo, it doesnt matter....I thought the George Aubrey Logan was the same person as George Alder Logan but it was a death or burial in Gateshead, C. Durham.

I posted that before reading the messages that followed. No need to be puzzled :)

Hi I'm wondering if anyone can help with the following information...im looking for birth of Heidi Logan, daughter of George Alder Logan and Johanna Leuthold.

Marriages of their daughters Heidi, Trudi Marie, Christin A and Leila Elisabeth

Death of George and Johanna and their possible burial locations and any newspaper articles/obituaries/photos of them.

My wife is related to them and George was born in 1915 in Northumberland, England and we recently came across the commonwealth war grave of his brother Robert.

Any help would be much appreciated.

With ref 'Boo"s message.....I've found Mildred May Logan marrying Frank Sawyer and I've also found reference to a George Aubrey Logan died or buried in Co. Durham.....I'm wondering if this is the same person??

Thanks, I didn't know the date they left America but I do know why. Sarah Jane had 2 children born 1926 and 1927 and she also died 1927 possibly due to complications after childbirth, who knows.

She is buried in Pennsylvania along with her 2 deceased children

 I appreciate all the replies, but I already had the 1923 info, he was travelling with his family to visit his grandfather who was living there and they intended to become permanent residents.....what i want  to know is...what happened to him after 1945?

 ;D happy christmas

I'm looking for George Alder Logan who was born about 1915 and lived in Chevington Drift. His brother Robert died during the 2nd world war and his 2 youngest siblings died shortly after they were born but....I can't seem to find George after WW2.

I know he went to America in 1923 but obviously came back to the UK and after that I have no idea where he went.

If anyone here is related to him, or knows how to find him, please let me know
