yes, thank you, I have seen that.  I do not know my Margaret's month/day of birth so I cannot be sure it isn't an error in the records.  I'm hoping to connect to descendants of other siblings.  My aunt remembers being visited by cousins from New York whose last name began with S.  Not much to go on..........

am looking for information on the family of James Reilly and his wife Ann/Nancy Coyle of the Newtownstewart / Sion Mills area.
parents of Edward b.1869 and Margaret b. ca. 1865.  Another daughter Martha (b.1849?) married a Hugh O'Neil in Strabane and had a daughter Jane/Jennie b.1867 in Newtownstewart.  I suspect there were a number of children born in between 1849 and 1869 to James and Ann/Nancy.

Margaret Reilly came to Boston, MA Sept 1886.  She married John Howard Patton here in 1887.

Jane O'Neil came to Boston in the mid 1890's as well and married a George Lawton Smith.  They had one daughter, Hazel, who married but had no children.

Am also looking for further information on the Eliza Patton who died in Tyrone in 1869 age 44.  Would like to establish whether or not she is Eliza Harwood Patton, wife of Joseph Patton.  Family lore has it that my great-grandfather's mother died when he was 11.  He was born in 1858, so 1869 fits for his mother's death.

does anyone transcribe and/or photograph cemetery headstones?  I have found it helpful to establish relationships if the headstones are either next to each other or sometimes even combined.

I am looking for information on the family of John Howard Patton born in 1858 in Omagh to Joseph Patton and Elizabeth Harwood.  father Joseph was in the militia.  family lore has it that after Elizabeth died about 1869 or so, John Howard was sent to music school and ended up a musician in the Army.  He emigrated to Boston, Ma, USA in 1887 and married Margaret Reilly (from Strabane?).  Family lore also has it that a brother emigrated to the US and went to Pennsylvania or Ohio.  I'd love any information on this family.  John Howard Patton was my great-grandfather.
