the late William J. Needrith. Loving mother of xxxx(3 childrens names) . Cherished grandma of 6. Dear sister of xxx(Brothers name). Reposing at The Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons East Islip Funeral Home, 200

East Main Street ( mile west of the S.S. Pkwy., Exit 45W). Religious Service at the

Funeral Home, Monday, 12:30 PM. Interment, Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury, L.I.

Visiting, Sunday, 2-4:30 and 7-9:30 PM, and Monday, 10 AM - 12:30 PM.

Perhaps you can post a request on findagrave to obtain a photo of the headstone, which would narrow down his date of death.

The Municipal Archives of NYC has them http://www.nyc.gov/html/records/html/archives/holdings.shtml

I believe Albany (the State Capital) has them as well, but if ordering copies or sending someone to look up for you, the best place would be NYC Archives.

There is a marriage (& births to 1909) database at either italiangen.org or at germangenealogygroup.com that are searchable.   If you are looking for actual copies of the documents, they aren't available online.

Familysearch.org has "some" NYC marriage records available - https://familysearch.org/search/collection/1680847

and some births here - https://familysearch.org/search/collection/1680842

United States of America / Re: Trying To Locate Grandfathers Grave in Dedham, Boston
« on: Tuesday 19 November 13 00:23 GMT (UK)  »
Massachusetts, Death Index for Sidney Hill says that he died in 1922, Boston.   Record can be found in Volume 1, Page 413.

It is incorrectly transcribed as Dedham 1924 (most likely from line below his entry).
