London and Middlesex / * Walsh Born *. London England (possible Kensington)

Hello I am conducting a search for The above mentioned Man, * Walsh. * was born and given up at birth. His Mothers name was Mary Walsh, unmarried at the time. * was brought up in a convent in London until the age of 7, and then became part of the group known as the "forgotten children". He was shipped to Western Australia and brought up in a Catholic farm orphanage until the age of 15. He is still alive and lives in * Western Australia. He is becoming quite frail, and is desperate to find any living relatives. He is alone but my family keep an eye on him. Hence me trying to find out whatever I can on his behalf. Any information at all would be greatly appreciated. It is terrible what has been done to so many of these people.

Hi Carolyn, I am only 49 and live in New South Wales. I have just returned from WA following my fathers passing. I never new Arthur's mother or MR Rowan. My father and Arthur where mates for years. My father organized his funeral. Arthur lived with us for a time. In his later years He stayed quite often. He always called me Ned after Ned Kelly. When He passed he left all his belongings to my Dad and my self. I still have his 1950 morris truck that he used to carry goods to his store at Kweda. I could write a book on him as he was always part of our family from the day I was born. We looked after him in latter years. He died from a cancer in his throat. He was a gifted Man in almost anything he did.His carpentry skills where second to none. He did have a temper though, you kept away if that ever surfaced. Lol. As a child he taught me so much. He left his mark on me which will be there until I die. I have many of his war trophies that he gave me before his death. My email is (*) I am more than happy to assist you in any way. Please tell me how you are related. Best Regards Kel Turner

Hi, my name is Kel (Kelvin) Turner. I am originally from Brookton WA. I am writing as I knew Arthur Charles Ingram personally. He was the grandfather that I never had. The reason I am writing is I have many of his and the families personal items. Such as his war medals, his fathers medals, his mothers midwifery papers just to mention a few. If I can be of any help please do not hesitate to ask. Arthur always said all his family where deceased. So hence the reason I have much of his personal effects.
