Hello Diddy & Lizdb,
Thank you so much for all your help it has helped me considerably. It was the listing on A* however I wasnt looking for the other names as I thought it was just James and Thomas. I had applied for James's daughter Ann birth certifcate to try and find out when James was born and it was a bonus as well as it also had Thomas & Mary and their age as I was able to work out when they were born. I am excited.

I would be happy to share what ever info you are looking for. I finished a book on the Blishen family back to 1640-50 and visited England earlier this year. I am working on updating the book and would welcome anything on Sophia. I also have the bates history they were from Stone Buckinghamshire England. Sophia Stephenson was from Edinburgh Scotland.

Hello,
I am trying to find out some information on Thomas & Mary Bates I have their birth years as 1796 & 1801 not sure if that is 100 percent correct, they were born in England. They gave birth to James Bates 1827 born in Stone Buckinghamshire he married Sophia Stephenson who in turn gave birth to Joseph 1853 who then married Sophia Blishen. I am extremely interested in photos if anyone has any available and also any info.
