You were right to check that I had seen your post Gaffy, I am a scatterbrain at times. ??? yes that is my pic of William that was commissioned on his retirement,he had to go to London to pick it up, so the story goes..he must have been well thought of..looks a right rough basket if you ask me :o
That is the picture I "found" after five years of enquiries, thought it might have been a copy of the one I was brought up with, but no. That was a black and white one and was left in my gran's house when she moved out! I can't believe that she didn't ask me if I wanted it or not, I only lived two doors away! My gran's side were from Armagh, got a right story to tell out my gran's brother who went to live in Kansas. A story of him supposed to have set fire to his own church, and being abducted by two or three geezers and dumped tied up in a mud hole on the outskirts of his town, wow1  Thanks again Gaffy.

yes that is they...only found that myself a week or so ago..you wouldn't think I'd been tracking them down, or rather him down for over ten years, had numerous letters from the police force who are still trying to track down a portrait of him that I grew up with as a child in my bedroom. It was him in full uniform and with that beard and tash too. Sergeant Freckleton where art though...lol you couldn't conjour that up as well could you Gaffy?

I have since found out that my gt gt grandfather, William Frackleton and his wife Jane retired back to County Down, where William died and Jane returned to Liverpool where the two had been living for thirty years. I still can't find a death certificate for William who died in 1910 as I don't know where the couple retired to. If Bambridge is that area where do I write to for help. I'm not too hot on figuring things out I'm afraid, but have been ok sorting computers out...lol..cheers posters :>)

Thank you so much for the restoration Irene, I am so pleased with your patience of the pic and of me :)

There was another of my relatives the last one on the right, but I am so happy I have two of my relatives on there, and that will do me fine.

may I send it to the relatives of the people and also put it in a family album on facebook where only relatives and neighbours can view it please.

thank you kevin.
