Is the Eastern Cemetery not the one on Drum Terrace just off Easter Road?

Another one to consider, and close to Windmill Street, might be East Preston Street.

A quick search of "The Epitaphs and Monumental Inscriptions of Greyfriars Churchyard in Edinburgh" compiled by James Brown (1867) told me the grave is in Division 9.
I stopped by this morning and found the grave within 2 minutes . . . .

Just saw the name "Butti" and it rang a bell with me. I was in Canongate Kirkyard last week taking some general photographs, thought these might be of some interest to those researching Butti/Nolli/Mitchell/Lazzaroni families.

Not sure if this is any help but I was looking through some photographs I took in East Preston Street in 2012 and came across this photo of the memorial to William Calder, Lord Provost - unfortunately its badly weathered.
