I to have started with the Remington's again after a loooong pause due to life happenings. My great grand mother was Ada Rebecca Remington 1850 - 1925 ( Tasmania ) daughter of George Remington 1826-1854 and Emma Malkin 1824-1851. I have found Ada coming to Tassie with her Uncle George Malkin as his daughter. I had come across John Comfort Remington before I was forced to stop my research. I am very interested in the wills you mentioned. would you mind letting me know where I can find them. Ann from Tassie

John Jacob Beuttermuller  ( Miller ) - changed his surname when he married Maria

I have also found a John " JAMES " McEnnulty 1827-1872
Not John " JOSEPH " McEnnulty 1827-1872 as is on their marriage certificate.

I also am looking for Charles Edward Thomas that married Mary Ann Underwood 1860
Their witnesses was John Joseph and Mary Ann McEnnulty of Longford.
Mary Ann was an Oldfield before she married but her mother was Martha Underwood.
Was this Mary Ann and Martha sisters ????

I dont have anything on Arthur at all on when he came in or out.
He married a Sarah Hull 1883 here in Tassie and had four boys the first born

I am looking for an Alice and Annie Cook that was brought to Australia by their father Arthur (James ) CooK seems he went by both names.
Family stories say he was a sea captain ( I have been unable to find any evidence of this.
I have no idea of the dates of the girls births
Arthur (James) was 52 when he died in Tasmania 1889 making his birth around 1837.
So I am assuming the girls would have been born ( 1855 ??? ) 
Dont know if there was any other siblings or the girls mother.
He did have a family in Tasmania as well where he went as Arthur.
Again family story goes he left girls in Victoria with friends and continued thru to Tasmania   ::)

I am also looking for Oldfields.
Mary Ann born in Cherterfield, Derby, England on 30 Jan 1831 to William Oldfield and Martha Underwood.
Mary Ann married John McEnnulty and had 6 children.
When John died Mary re-married a John Joseph McSoley and had two more children
She passed away on 4 Mar 1889 in Longford, Tasmania, Australia.
Have been unable to find her coming into Australia - nothing on her before her marriage to John

I also am looking for a John Davey his wife was Mary and they had a son William Davey born 1863 New Norfolk Tasmania. He married a Sarah Cook in 1897. She already had 5 sons from a previous marriage but I believe there were children from this marriage as well. Is there any connection with your Davey's

I am also looking for a George Fry who married a Ellen Hull in Hobart 1882
I believe his second marriage - dont think there was any children to this marriage.
Haven't been able find any.
Would anyone know who his first marriage was to.
