Lancashire Lookup Requests / Re: Joseph BAINES b. 1807 Claughton on Brock

There was a James Baines baptised at St Thomas' on Feb 21st 1778, and another James Bains born June 4th 1771 to Thomas and Margaret.
I live about 20 miles from Claughton-in-Brock which is still a very small, rural district. I think they probably worked on the land. The Catholic faith remained strong in that part of Lancashire despite the persecutionsof the time against Catholics.
My paternal grandmother was a Cecily Baines born 1876 and descended, I believe, from a Barnaby Baines born in 1640.
