PPS in the 1911 census George Albert Knight (Gardener, age 31, born Effingham)), his wife Katie (age 30, born Welwyn) and their 5 month old son Albert William are living at The Lodge, Newport Pagnell suggesting again that North Bucks was their base

PS have come across a death of Katie Knight Age 62 J/F/M 1944 in North Bucks (Vol. 3A, Page 1926) which would fit with the Bartholomews, Linford, Bucks photo stamp

hi ... came across your enquiry when researching my son-in-law's great grand parents Frederick Charles Woodward and Minnie Woodward (nee Philpott, born in Welwyn 1879, presumably a sister of your "Aunt Kit")

Fred and Minnie were both killed in an air-raid on 67, Hamilton Road on 28th Sept. 1940 ... both their death certificates show "due to war operations" as the cause of death and both appear in the Civilian War Dead Roll of Honour 1939-1945 in Westminster Abbey

can you fit any of this to your family?
