They both lived in Jarrow but henry did move to south bank Middlesbrough around 1911

I did try the local newspapers and i found nothing for owen burns but i did find a shooting incident for Henry burns, it works out the correct age but i think it is too far from there home. I will have a second look this weekend though, thank you for you reply

In the 1901 census it shows my GG Grandad Henry Burns and my GGG grandad Owen burns in prison. I have looked at ancestry and they do not have records from this time, i have also contacted Durham prison and Durham records office and they too have no records. Does anyone have any idea where i could search next. I would really appreciate any help Thanks penny

Is there anybody out there that could help me i think i have found my great grandad in durham prison on the 1901 cencus also on the cencus is the name of my Great great grandad. I am not 100% if either of them are my relatives but it is looking likely.

Hi i have just read your post regarding hunts in finmere and i am sure we share the same ancestors, William hunt 1805 was my 4th great grandfarther. His son Thomas (1827) was my 3rd great grandfather. I would love to know if your have any more information. Thanks penny
