morning Holly Bee. there will indeed be an event again this year. I am just trying to agree a date with the venue. so watch this space  :P

I'm really happy about this, I came to one of the events two years back with my mum and it was lovely for my mum to discover long lost cousins and aunties there. Would love to attend the next event. Kind regards, Lisa

This was posted by someone called Sharon on an earlier thread. I found it by googling bohemian estate Eastwood. I don't know how to link threads or anything like that, so I copied and pasted it here:

Hi all

If anyone has already obtained an original 1911 census page for their family at Bohemia Estate, there's a useful new facility now available at no extra cost   that shows you the surnames of the heads of household of all the other families living there. This was added at the end of last week.

To get this free info, you need to:

• Go to www.1911census.co.uk and register as usual

• Click on MY ACCOUNT at the top right of the page

• Click on MY RECORDS in the blue box on the left-hand side of the page

• You'll be presented with a list of all the pages you've viewed or downloaded to date.

• Click on the VIEW button beside any one.

• The image will appear with a number of new buttons above it. Click on the one labelled LIST.

• You'll then be presented with a a new image – a list of the surnames of the other heads of household who were neighbours living in the same street as your people.

It's very useful for finding out if your people were living in a tent or van on their own or living with other others in an encampment – and for the Bohemia/n Estate the LIST page shows there were 118 people living in 24 caravans and two tents by the surnames of:

Wayland
Wayland
Livermore
Osborne
Harriss (spelt like that)
Goody
Livermore
Smith
Smith
Buckley
Smith
Smith
Bukley (spelt like that)
Boswell
Draper
Taplin
Gray
Barr
Smith
Webb
Scarrott
Harriss
Bibby
Webb

Hope this helps!

Best wishes

Sharon

Emmanuel and his brother Alfred married two Brookes sisters, Ellen and Amelia - I am sure one of their descendents comes on here - if not I will try and find her and put her in touch.  Emmanuel and Alfred were my gt grandmother Conceletta Scarrotts cousins. Their grandparents are John Scarrott and Sarah nee Dore from Ramsden Oxfordshire-there is quite a lot on them in various threads on here.

Excellent thank you!! I am off to my nans this weekend where I will do some more digging about Alfred and Amelia, It's like trying to get blood out of a stone unfortunately haha, but now I have more info that will be a great help, I'm slowly getting further back which is of massive interest to me, thank you so much for your help x
