My maternal grandfather was Hubert Theodore (Ted) Meugens. He married Mary Isobel Watson
In 1912 in B C.  They had one child, Norah Helen Marcia (Noni), my mother b. 1915.

I will go through some papers of my father's (AMDF) and see what I can find.
I have found a tentative connection between Ednam, Scotland and WAS birth in Swellendam among the 1820 Settlers but haven't verified it.

Do you have a Vancouver connection?    Will get more info for you.

Just joined this afternoon.  I can probably help with Fairbairn/Smith marriage S/A.  WAS Fairbairn b.
Swellendam S/A married Anna Georgina Carrington-Smith.  Have more info and can research more.
