Hi Ware, try this seach, type or copy-paste the following line in it's entirety into Google:
allintext: "TREVOR CONSTRUCTION" AND "Northern Rhodesia" OR Zambia

That'll find you a number of 'hits' to follow.

Jeaster 1,
The Death Notice for Edward John Young is found easily, just go to 'Zimbabwe Death notices, 1904-1976' here: https://www.familysearch.org/search/collection/1838530

In the Search box type in surname 'Young' and Death '1971-1971' (seeing as you know that), and his is then number 3 in the results.
That gives his place of normal residence, age, country of birth, place of death, marital status, number of children, occupation, intended place of burial, cause of death and duration of ilness, and the medical practitioner and funeral directors.

That D.R.1397/71 is in this collection 'Zimbabwe Death Registers, 1890-1977; Index to Death Register, 1892-1977', here: https://www.familysearch.org/search/collection/1837900
You find it by clicking the following links from that page:
>Browse through 74,045 images
>Death registers
>1971, #1001-1400.
So that image number 1397, and the first image in that folder is 1001, so that image could be around 1397-1001= page 396 in that file,so that would be where to look first (in actual fact it is page 408 of that volume). Look at the number on the top of the form, calculate how many pages you need to jump forwards or bacjwards, and then you'll reach the image you want.
The URL for that page is: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:939N-CX3W-16?i=407&wc=M6LS-KTL%3A163032901%2C163432301&cc=1837900

I wonder if you're still monitoring this old post.
There are now a couple of good online resources of Rhodesian/Zimbabwian historical genealogical interest:
Rhodesian Death Notices up until 1977 have been transcribed and can be searched by name. The resource is in FamilySearch titled 'Zimbabwe Death notices, 1904-1976', here: https://www.familysearch.org/search/collection/1838530
More interesting are the Rhodesian 'Information of a Death' reports -titled ' Zimbabwe Death Registers, 1890-1977; Index to Death Register, 1892-1977 - which give a lot of information about the person apart from the place and date of death there may be the names of his parents, spouse, when and where they married, normal place of abode, childrens' names, and the surnames of married daughters.  That is here: https://www.familysearch.org/search/collection/1837900
That resource is not yet transcribed, so must be browsed..... scroll down and click 'Browse through 74,045 images', look for the index folders for the particular surname/given names, and copy that image or print-it for reference, you'll need the D.R. numbers to find the images.
- Note there are 3 index folders to search, ie. names starting with B might be in the folders titld 'Death indexes Surnames A-B'or B-C or BH-BY, or could also be in the folder titled 'Death indexes Surnames A-Z', and furthermore could also be found in the folder titled 'Open Files'.
- Having found the D.R. or D.R.B. reference open the folder titled 'Death registers' and look for the folder for that particulat reference. Up until 1962 the ledger volumes were numbered sequentially, so D.R. 8/100 would be document 100 in ledger volume 8, but D.R. 100/63 would be in one of the folders for 1963.

Another useful resource is the Rhodesian Voter Registry 1899-1948. That comprises 10 volumes which can be browsed online (not yet transcribed, so not searchable), all accessed from this page: https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/497705?availability=Family%20History%20Library

London and Middlesex / Re: Princess St Westminster 1829
« on: Saturday 27 August 16 09:29 BST (UK)  »
I too was looking for the location of the same street (the way it's written in the 1841 census it looks like Princess's, as it's written with the 'long s' representing double-s, followed by another s), ...and funnily enough I was looking for Sarah Ann Linn in St Marylebone in 1841, and found that Sarah Linn adjacent to William Rose, gardener & wife Frances in St Marylebone St John.

However, alongside 'Princess's Street" that 1841 census area included Kelso Place, Samford Street, Orens Street, and Lisson Grove . This "Topographical Survey Of The Borough Of St. Marylebone 1834" shows that area; on that map it's shown as 'Princes Street' (as there is no Princess's street apparent in the immediate neighbourhood): http://mapco.net/stmaryle/stmaryle10b.htm

Browsing those "Princess's Street" pages in the 1841 census I spotted another Rose (related perhaps?), namely on page 23 of that 1841 census Mary Rose, 62, in the household of Ann Brunt, laundress.

Frederica Lavinia Jutsum's est.d.o.b.is given as 1817 throughout the censuses, and also on her BMD death, however she married in 1834 with no mention that she could have been a minor. Perhaps she was born earlier than 1817? (censuses being prone to round down ages). Her place of birth given as Chelsea in all censuses, bar 1871 which says Fulham. Otherwise the sisters remain elusive.

I've found same amazing mistranscriptions of the name Sleap, so I checked Sleech just in case, but no match.

I hadn't looked before, so I took a look at Blizard's Place in the 1851 census. My Sleap's had moved on by then, but your Lavinia Jones was still there (Chelsea North West enumeration district 18).

Regarding 16 College street, in the 1839 Robson's London and Birmingham - Part 1 the occupiers of "College street Chelsea Common" are listed, at No 16 with the following: Dennis Edw grocer; Sleap F.T. "The Acorn" br hse; Brown Geo, plumber; Davis Jas, shoemaker; Davis Job, toydealer.

In the same 1839 Robson's London and Birmingham - Part 1 directory, in the section with names listed alphabetically F.T. Sleap's address is given as Sleap F.T., Beer retailer, 14 College street, Chelsea.
(I haven't found anything regarding an establishment named "The Acorn" - whether that was at 14 or 16 College street, or elsewhere.)

In the 1841 census College street isn't numbered, but I found the page where James Davis the shoemaker & Job Davis the toydealer are still there, but no sign of Jones, nor Sleap, nor any "The Acorn" in the vicinity.

In the 1851 census that same Job Davis was still in College street, but at no. 17 (Chelsea North West enumeration district 17), but I couldn't see any of the others.

I had a quick loom to see if I could find the marriage or baptisms, for which you are searching - but couldn't find them. Would they have been catholic?

Hi, I saw an old Rootschat message of yours, regarding 16 College street, 6 Blizard's Place (both in Chelsea) and Lavinia de Irujo /Yrjo and the surname Jones.
Funnily enough both those addresses mean something to me. The family of Francis Thomas Sleap lived at 7 Blizard's Place, Chelsea (from abt 1825 or earlier through to abt 1842), and then he is recorded as being a Beer retailer at 14 or 16 College street in 1839 (conflicting street numbers in two different sources).
So, in the 1841 census, next door to wife Ann Sleap and 2 of their daughters at 7 Blizard's Place, (I guess at No 6) I see Lavinia Jones aged 45 and Sarah 'Yrujio' (her surname transcribed as 'Genger' in Ancestry) aged 75. Come back to me if you can't find that.
I have the location of those two addresses pinpointed, if you haven't yet found them.
regards, Barry
