 :)Thank you very much for this he is also my great * 4 grandfather, and I did not know this location. My line followed to the Plough in Felin Gwm and then Glynllydaw Farm just outside Brechfa and on to Ammanford.

My connection to the Griffiths' comes through my grandmother who was a Griffiths and her grandfather was Daniel Griffiths the son of William Griffiths. On my tree Thomas Griffiths is shown as the father of William Griffiths  but again I cannot vouch for its accuracy and that's as far back my tree goes. Sorry about the long delay in replying.

1. Here lieth the body of Thomas Griffiths, of Coedhirion, in this Parish, who died April 5th 1795, aged 49
Dyma’r man rwi nawr yn gorwedd
Hefyd bump o mhlentyn yr un bedd
Mae chwech yn fyw a ngwraig yn weddw
Boed Duw’n gadarn i’w cadw
(Stone inscription unclear – worn)

Hello the Griffiths' you mention are direct ancestors on my family tree I found this gravestone on the net somewhere. Don't know if it is of interest to you.
