Other Countries / Deen Family Trinidad
« on: Sunday 17 February 13 16:10 GMT (UK)  »
I am looking for the Deen Family in Trinidad. The father was Fazul Deen born in (*) his wife was Fatima Deen (no idea of her maiden name) born (*), daughter Feroza Dean born (*). I can not find any birth records for them in Trinidad leaving me to believe they were born elsewhere.

Two sons Farouk Deen born (*) and Kamalu Deen born (*) were definitely born in Trinidad as I have birth records.

The family travelled to England in 1959 but Feroza remained in England in Hornsey, later Croydon to go to nursing school.

Hope someone can help me find thses people.

Other Countries / Antigua Families
« on: Tuesday 27 November 12 13:33 GMT (UK)  »
I am looking for any information on the following families from Antigua from 1800 onward. Cranstoun, Mercer, Harper, McIntosh, Smith, Wesston, Tait, Shervington, Bell, Symes, Abbott, Athill, Sutton, Byam, Casamajor, Anderdon and Malone.

I have done extensive research on these families and many others in Antigua, Montserrat, St. Kitts, Nevis and the US Virgin Islands however there are a few missing links.

All of the families were related somewhere along the line through marriage.

Also any information on Blizards, Cochrane's, Cassada Gardens, Thomas's, Langford's plantations and if anyone knows how to obtain records from the Methodist Church in Antigua.

You could try the History of Antigua Volume 2 a downloadable pdf file there is a pedigree of the Gordon family there.

Hello,
I know an Abbott in Antigua, who has quite an extensive knowledge of the Abbott family. I'd rather not provide his information in this forum but if you contact me I will put you in touch with him.

Hello,
I just discovered this forum and my link to the Dawson family is through William Thompson Dawson's son, John Watson Dawson and ends in Canada with my grandmother Ada May Dawson. I can supply a GEDCOM file if anyone is interested.
I was wondering if anyone knows whether WT Dawson had any brothers or sisters as when I first started putting this together I found all sorts of Dawson links into the US before I realized my error. My Dawson line came from Wisbech and not being familiar with Englands, districts it became very confusing. I managed to find a 5x cousin who pointed me in the right direction and I believe my tree is correct however I have learned to leave no stone unturned when finding family.
I do understand the size of the Dawson family and was wondering if anyone had a link to the Cranstoun family. The Cranstoun family came from Antigua however I can't document anything back to england or Scotland from there other than supposition.
