Yes, I've been using FamilySearch.  My mother is a Flowerday and I inherited a lot of photos of David and Martha's family, and I believe I have a photo of Emma as well.  David had a daughter named Rosina too, so there are multiple Rosina Flowerdays.

I think that we are finding the same info because the Rosina Flowerday I found was born in South Walsham.   I have never heard anything about David or any of his brothers and sisters being born out of wedlock, though, and I do believe it's unlikely given the fact that he is the youngest of three.  Who knows?

The Flowerdays were members of Great St. Nicholas parish in Great Yarmouth and their archive site states that most of these records were destroyed by German bombing during WWII.  I think we may be stuck with a lot of conjecture.

I have considered this as a possibility.  In the 1871 census, David and his brother William and sister Emma are listed as living with Rosina Flowerday as the head of household.  It looks like David's father was either deceased very young or not in the picture.  However, in other records I found a Rosina Cotterell (variant of Cockrill) born the correct year to match the Rosina in the 1871 census, leading me to believe that this may be David's mother and that there is still a male Flowerday parent.  David is also the youngest of three children (all Flowerday) so I think that's a strike against him being born out of wedlock.  William Cockrill may have been a grandfather or uncle.  It looks like the church records from this time were destroyed in WWII, so we might never know, but I would sure like to find out! :)

Also, David and his brother William are listed as boarders with the Tunmore family in the 1881 census.  Rosina appears to be a nurse at the Great Yarmouth Workhouse at this point -- she is listed on the staff there and the age matches up.

Edited to correct year and add info.

I am also attempting to research the Flowerday family.  I have only gotten as far as David Cockrell Flowerday (b. 1860) and his wife Martha Everitt (Cullen?) Flowerday.  I can't seem to link up to David's ancestors.  They were married in St. Nicholas parish in Yarmouth, Norfolk, and it seems that the church records were destroyed in WWII.  Someone out there must have a family tree, though.  Please let me know if you know who David's ancestors are!
