Hi Anya, The plaque in the church reads 'sacred to the memory of Reverend Edward Evans, pastor of this church for 35 years, who departed this life April 15th 1872 aged 73 years - Be Ye Also Ready'.

I am the great granddaughter of Edward Evans. My grandmother was Clara Evans. I have a copy of the wording off the plaque in the church.
