My Great Grandmother was a Shilton from West Bromwich but I dont know where else they may have been in Staffordshire  :) :)

I got fifty from FindMyPast site but some of mines got used up quickly. They have all gone. Found some interesting newspaper items from Nottinghamshire though.  :) :)

They built the high rise flats at sighthill around Huntingdon place.   They have mostly gone now, I think.  Not been up there for about 5 years . Springburn was very much a railway production area in the past though. Ayr street further up and the Cally yard.  Hoeys store and the cooperative on springburn rd. All shopping centres and modern housing in their place  today.
