Its now called Pickburn, 2 miles from Adwick le Street. I have it on an ancestors death registration as being called Pigburn in 1838. The farm may have been Pigburn, now called Elms Farm?

Mary Catherine Ford b. Ashover Derbyshire 1867

These were my great grandparents too.
I live in Scotland and am the grandson of Alfred L. Oates, who was a brother of Constance Oates (Canada) who died circa 2001. I have more info if you would like to reply.
