Not sure if I can help but John Sinnamon is my grandad. Although we called him jack. He passed away 26 years ago. My mother is his 2nd  child called Louisa he was married to dulcimer and they had 8 children

I am trying to trace any information on a Sinnamon who emigrated from Northern Ireland in the 1800s
and also a Jim (?) Thompson from Northern Ireland, related through his mother to Sinnamons,
who also emigrated to New Zealand possibly between 1930 and 1950.
