I have some research on Hans Tait and family and have census records,some birth and death records too if you want that info. I notice that you are interested in Penman's from Stirling also - Are these Penman's related to the Taits? Nan

Hi I am related to the Harkess family from Dunbar through Ann Stewart who married John Tear - is this the Stewart you are researching?  Ann Stewart was my Gr/Grandmother born 1846 in Dunbar - daughter of John Stewart and Marion Tear.If this is your Stewart would be glad to exchange info. Nan

Hi Blue tans wonder if the Andrew Swan you mention was born in Bathgate 1884 son of William Swan and Caroline Walker. My husband is related to the Swans through William Swan b 1886(his Grandfather) and remembers taking a Canadian relative to visit Swan relations in the Falkirk area - he seems to think there may have been an accident to a member of this family with a tractor on their farm.I have some information  regarding the Swan family but unfortunately nothing on the Falkirk relatives. The other names in the tree are not familiar to me.would be glad to hear from you if you think their is a connection.  Nan
