The only informion I have on Elizabeth Love is that she was born in Larbert, Stirlingshire on 20/01/1765. She married a David Dalyrymple (probably around 1783 looking at the birth dates of her children). She had at least three children; Rachel born 29/02/1784 in Polmont, Stirlingshire, Janet born 5/02/1786 in Tranent, East Lothian and Thomas born 16/09/1787 in Caronock, Fife. I think the likelihood is that she had more than this as you would expect to see a David, Henry and Elizabeth among the names.

A bit more background on Muirheads - John Muirhead b1635 was my g9 grandfather and his daughter Janet my g8 grandmother. Janet married a James Waters about 1680 in St Ninian's and they had a daughter Janet Waters b in Tillicoultry, Clackmannon. Janet Waters married a William Love in Scoonie in 1729. Their son Henry married a Rachel Simpson in Larbert in 1756. I am related to two of their children, Janet and James. But through another child of theirs, David Love, they have a line of the family who became mormons and went to live in Salt Lake City. I got most of my information from the LDS website and the information may be quite detailed there because of the Mormon connection. I'm sorry I can't be more helpful about the John Muirhead and Janet Adam you asked about but it may be worth checking the LDS website if you haven't done so already. Good luck. Laura

Not sure if this is at all relevant but I have Muirheads from St Ninian's in my family tree. John Muirhead, born 1635 married a Janet Thomson. Their daughter Janet Muirhead born 1661 married a James Waters.

I'm trying to find birth details for my great grandfather Joseph Hunter who died in a pit accident in 1917 and is buried in Denny Cemetry. He was born in Ireland but I haven't been able to find out his birthdate and was hoping it might be on his headstone. If anyone has details or is able to get this information I would be very grateful!
