Hi, thanks for getting back to me.
My Great Grandfather James Tarmey 1872-1949 married Mary Tarmey 1887-1963
Both of them were Tarmeys. James was from Templetogher, where Mary was from Cloonmahara. Both in the parish of Williamstown.
James Tarmeys parents were Martin Tarmey 1842 and Ellen Dillon 1844.
Martin Tarmey 1842 father was called James Tarmey (No information but approx 1810/1820s)
Mary Tarmey above 1887-1963, her parents were Thomas Tarmy 1841 and Mary Knight 1846. Thomas Tarmey's father was Michael Tarmey.
Might be a bit confusing but it would be easier if you had a look at my family tree on Ancestry.com.
