Tracey Bailey, you sent in some information regarding Ellen Clipson, daughter of Robert Clipson and Jane Watkinson, Ellen marrying a Robert Cook 14 May 1875 Witton Linc's.
I need to link Robert Clipson and Jane Watkinson to William Clipson and Jane Robinson, married 25 Nov 1793...Wickenby, Linc's.
William seems to have had a 10 year gap betwixt marriage and first born that lived.???.
That being Ann..21 Aug 1803.. Horsington, Linc's, Robert 02 Dec 1805..Horsington, Harriet.. Feb 1808.. Horsington, Elizabeth 11 April 1810, Richard 29 Nov 1812.. Horsington.

William seems to have picked up another wife, (Frances) around 1814??.
Had Sophia 11 Sept 1814 and Susan 03 Oct 1819...died 30 Jan 1823.

The large Clipson family now living in the East Riding of Yorkshire are related to the Lincolnshire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Clipson's and need to be put into one big Family Tree.
I wait to hear from you all

Widower's tend to move their wedding rings in such away, to show they where once married, yet still faithfull to the memory of a late wife.
He could have been an industrialist?, or lay preacher, but it was common for for self-employed men to dress such a way, Inn Keepers, Bailiffs, etc

Thomas Bulmar Dunwell, Hairdresser, 19 Scale Lane, 1851, I was hoping the building was still standing, no such luck.
Yet I was delighted to see numbers 1 & 2 Bishop Lane, have survived the test of time my GGGrandfather William Dunwell lived in them both for some time. 2 Bishop Lane being the Queens Coffee House from about 1851 to 1870.
He also had the Gate, Lr union St. 1840.
The Grapes, Fawcett St. 1842.
The Neptune 3 Chapel Lane, 1846.
Any Dunwell's in the Hull area please get in touch.
