Jennifer,

Many thanks for the lookup. Sadly, I don't think it's the Rosalie I'm looking for as I think she was born in 1799 and not 1806. Not sure who Robert Benson could be either.

I guess I'll just have to keep on looking!

Hi Biker,

I thought that by giving the census reference I was making it easy for someone to do a lookup. No-one has replied to this request and I'd still really like the information. If the reference is of no use, what other information would help?

Thanks all for your replies.

The Rosalie Santos in the 1851 census is the same Rosalie. I can't find a record of her baptism in King's Lynn, which is frustrating.

I tried FamilySearch for Vicente but there was no connection.

There may be a connection with Lucretia Santos but I'm not sure yet.

Norfolk / Wheelhouse & Woodhouse families, Norwich C19

My research subject is WILLIAM WOODHOUSE WHEELHOUSE, the son of Wiiliam and Ann (nee Woodhouse) Wheelhouse, baptised at St Peter Mancroft, Norwich in 1824. William and Ann married at the same church in 1823. They had another son, Jonathan Renton Wheelhouse.

William married Vicentia Dos Santos in Edmonton, Middlesex, in 1856 and it is Vicentia's family that I am mainly interested in (her parents were Vicente and Rosalie).

Any information on any of the above would be gratefully appreciated.

Norfolk / Cooper baptisms, King's Lynn c. 1799
« on: Monday 21 November 05 22:35 GMT (UK)  »
I'm looking for evidence of two baptisms in King's Lynn circa 1799.

Rosalie Cooper
Matilda Cooper

I believe they had a brother called William who was a few years older.

They all moved to London but the sisters gave their birthplace in several censuses as King's Lynn.

Can anyone help?

Thanks, Sebastian.

Searching for origins of two sisters, Rosalie and Matilda COOPER, born in Lynn c.1798 and 1799. They may have had a brother, William, born c.1790. Any info appreciated. Thanks.
