hi carolyn, i have only started this family tracing this week, so i am all over the place at the moment, one thing i know for sure, my grandmother was a Kathleen Behan before marriage, she was born in calverstown outside naas , she had a few brothers and sisters, not 100% of there names, but my mother thinks there was an Edward, James, Michael, Pauline, margaret and james, she thinks some of them moved into naas and surrounding areas of castledermot, this is all she knows at the moment. there might be some connection as these behans date back to 1880,s , 1910 approx.

hi, i am not sure if this is of any relevance, but my grandmother was a behan from calverstown, co kildare. we know she is related to loads of behans in naas, her name is kathleen , she had married and settled in athy, she was born in the 1917 and died in 1975.  we are trying to trace our family history and are at a dead end.
