Thanks for that. We did go into the lower part, but with unguided searching we got no results. It may be there is no marker. We are visiting again in mid September so with your directions, will have another look.
Matthew Williamson was an Alderman of Halifax, so would be surprised if there isn't a marker of some sort.

If anyone can help locate a grave in the Methodist church it would most helpful.
Three internments in plot 125F
Mary Williamson in 1945, husband Matthew in 1950 and son Ewart in 1979.
Tried to find it last year with no luck.
Their granddaughter is now 80 and would like to know where it is.
