hi katherine
I live in England, but was born in ireland.  I know that Arthur Gore born 1828 was married to Sarah Anne Warriner and they had 5 childred namely; Arthur born 13/02/1874 and info says he died 1875, Sarah Anne born 09/11/1864, Charles Richard born 25/11/1869, John Gore born 1846 and died 1912 & Hannah Margaret.

John married Emily Patricia Clarke about 1898 and were the parents of my grandmother Elizabeth Abigail Gore and her siblings; sisters Sarah Anne,  Eva and brother Arthur who died as a small child.  Hannah Margaret married Richard Batterton, who was my grandfather's parents.  Yes they were 1st cousins.

I found somewhere can't remember where, but it seems Sarah Anne Warriner may have been called William Warriner.

hope this helps.

Cheers

Hi Janice. I am also researching my GORE's from Duncormic, whom I think are closely related to yours. Would love to hear from you.
Do you have contact with Peggy Kennet, or Peg Handcock, as they are both related to Arthur Gore b.1828?
Look forward to hearing from you.
Katharine.
Hi Katherine

My mother Emily Patricia Crampton (nee Batterton) was Peggy Kennett's twin sister, their mother was Elizabeth Abigail Batterton (nee Gore) and was married to Richard Cecil Batterton. Working on a few ideas, this family stuff is very addictive.
We buried mum's ashes at St Davids Church, Mulrankin this month and found a Thomas Gore, his son and his sister we think, on a memorial plaque in the church.  Will let you know when have something more concrete.
Regards
Cheryl
