I am trying to find out a bit more information about Jemima McBeath (Mrs Hoey) who came to Wanganui New Zealand.   She is the great aunt of my 90 year old friend

Hi everyone - I was sitting talking to an elderly friend about her Great grandmother - Jemima Hoey - and we came across these posts.  She was fascinated to hear all the additional information.  Her great grandmother set up an infant school in Wanganui in 1880 and taught there for 27 years.   Her name is Janet Fenwicke (Russell).  She is 90 this year

Wilkinson, Watson & Nicholas are not triplets.
ages were rounded down in the 1841 census, which is where the confusion arises.

Dorothy was born in 1838. her birth certificate will give mother's maiden/former names.

Could it be possible that there were in fact triplets?  I have triplet brothers so wondered if it was a genetic thing?

Thanks everyone for your help with Ellen Weller - I believe  she is the one mentioned with the family name of Bowra - as this is also one of my Great - grandfather's names - Ernst Harold Bowra Diehl.  Thanks again.  regards,Pauline
