There is definitely a Chesterfield in Staffordshire, it's near Lichfield. Don't know if this makes any difference to the debate

There are least 12 Cof E churches baptising in Derby 1855, including Little Eaton and Darley Abbey. A further 7 non comformist including Ockbrook Moravian which might be worth checking. Don't give up on Derby until you have checked all these.

Denbighshire / RISCUT MILL
« on: Friday 14 September 12 10:27 BST (UK)  »
Does anyone know of a " Eros? Riscut (Riscub?) Mill in the parish of St Martins Denbigh" which was flourishing in 1828 under Edward Hughes? I am trying to locate such a place named in a Settlement Examination.

Any help appreciated
