Sounds like they are the same photo, but we couldn’t see Annie Elizabeth (senior) wearing glasses on the photo we have?  We also thought that maybe in 1915 the photo wasn’t necessarily taken in the sitters house & the background & clothes they wear may be set up, say in a photography  studio with a false  back drop etc,  we are not sure?

Happy to email you scanned copies of the few photos we have, (if you don’t already have them?)  Personally haven’t got very far with following the line of the Ledsham/Saunders family on Ancestry UK, as having the same problem as you I think?  We are finding it time consuming as we are not experts in genealogy, although it’s very interesting.

As we are still local to Christchurch cemetery in Ellesmere Port, we have been to have a look at the vase for William Ledsham, which took some finding as it’s on the same plot/grave of the family’s names of Roberts & Griffiths (again can email you a photo of actual current grave if you wish?).  Not sure if the vase was always placed there or been moved over the years?  Are they related? Don’t know as we haven’t delved into that one as yet.

Reluctant to put our email address on the roots chat web site so if you still have family still living in the area? I suggest we can meet up with a family member & I can get your email address from them?

Let me know your thoughts & we can arrange a time & place.

My Grandmother Annie Elizabeth Haddock has passed on a photo of William and Annie Elizabeth taken about 1915 (but not 100% sure of exact year). It shows William (father), Annie (mother), Annie Elizabeth, Mary Ann, Thomas JW, John Henry & either Emily Maud or May.  Only just started looking into our family history so haven't got as far as Great Auntie May's Granddaughter as yet.  Annie & William lived at 11 Stafford Gardens in Ellesmere Port til their death, as my Grandmother Annie Haddock then took over the house when she died.
Great Auntie May is fondly remembered by all our family.
Good luck in your searching.  Thanks to the information on this site I have since received a photo of William Ledsham (our great grandfather) grave stone vase.
