Hi
Cannot help you with your Charles Byrne but can you help me with a Bridget Campion who married Henry Byrne.  They had 2 sons, Patrick & Henry and 2 daughters Margaret & Catherine.
Patrick married Ann Kavanagh and eventually came out to New Zealand.
Looking forward to your reply

Hi Julienne

The information I have about Frank Bond Emms & Sarah Lucy Towler is a tree I did about ten years ago.  Unfortunately I do not have it on my computer.

I have Frank's father as Edward Emms - a needle Manufacturer. No mother's name.

Frank Bond Emms B. 27.11.1866 at Birmingham, England and he D. 3.11.1937 Age 71 in Gisborne. NZ.  He married on 4.10.1896 at Eastham, England to Sarah Lucy Towler.  She was B. 1874 Eastham, England and D. 1945-6 at Gisborne. NZ
They had 5 children.  2 children died in England.  Herbert Walter & Twins Frederick Stanley & Donald Arthur came to NZ. I hope this helps.

Susan

Sorry to be so confusing!
The James Jnr is my Great Great Grandfather.  He died in 1893 and is buried at the Hamama cemetery in Takaka.
He married Sarah Jane Kearns in Nelson in 1865 and settled in Takaka.  They had 10 children.  Willian James is one of their children.
I have checked the paper past for Nelson and have all the births of their children.
The information I am trying to find is about his parents James & Elizabeth Reilly and his 4 brothers and 1 sister.  I have checked at Isle Park in Nelson to no avail.  Where did they go to?  I found James 21 years after he arrived in NZ.   when he got married in 1865.

Hi Althea

Many thanks for the web sites.  I will check them out. I am trying to find out where this family went to after they arrived in Nelson.  Their son James Jnr ( you missed his name out) was my Great-Great Grandfather.  The only information I have is from his marriage in 1864 in Nelson to Sarah Kearns. They settled in Takaka.
