It was a long shot - but I try and follow up on as many links to the WOODNUTT name and its variations as I can as I am slowly building up my database of names - got quite a few thousand already

Hi, I am doing a one-name study on the WOODNUTT name and think that WOODNOTH could be a variation.  I have quite a few WOODNOTH's in my database but no Peter or John in the time frame you are looking for.

I am doing some research on Edwin Schur and found your 'chat'  I have a complete article of the time about this cake, and as you mentioned a workmate who was a relative of Edwin Shur, I would like to get in touch.  Know it is a long shot, especially as your post was a couple of years ago, but thought I would give it a go!
