Hi.

  Walking through the 1911 gives Jesse Sneyd and wife Eliza at number 29. With them is Eliza's daughter Eva Stanford.
 Jesse Snead married Eliza Ann Stanford in 1907.
Eva's gro index gives mothers maiden name as McDermott.

Well done. I am having probs on GRO records and she doesn't show on Ancestry. I've even check local papers but only found Alan.

She could be nee Betteridge there is a marriage in Birmingham in 1933.
 A Phyllis M Betteridge born Kings Norton Warwickshire 1913.

Phyllis M Tomkins is still on election roll through to 1971 that I can see so far

Hi.

 The newspaper report is for Charles William Tomkins and yes his wife Phyllis Craker. He was a marine and posted as missing believed killed in the middle east. He was 28 and worked for London brick company his father was also killed in the First World War.

Hi.

 Samuel could have married twice to a Mary as ....Husborne Crawley 19 june 1826 there is a burial of Mary Norman age 25. That could be Mary Arnold as a first wife. However that also lines with the Samuel death there the same year.
 I have families in this area and they move between villages for work. I am not sure if others are lurking and records aren't on line.

  The marriage took place in 1854 in Kent.

 James Green a plasterer father William a plasterer.
 Jane Berwick father James a baker.
  St Botolph Northfleet 5 june 1854.
