Tara,
yes you could be right cause Christinas mother name is Theresa ''Cullen'', quite possibly it is McMullen spelling/typo

Thank you so much for this information, it is definetly them. They named their first child Theresa...which is also her mothers name. and the second link you put up there , there is a John Joe....they named one of their kids John Joe. so its definetly them. Thanks a million, this is a great breakthrough for me. really appreciate it.

i've run that info by a family member, and they said Christina would have been born in 1911/1912, that would answer why i cant find her in the 1901 or 1911 census

something else that might be helpful....they both died in 1986 (8 months apart) in Manchester, and are both buried in Manchester.

I'm trying to find any information on my great grandparents, but i dont really have much to go on.

Richard Hughes and Christina Hughes ''Maiden name was CLINTON'', 47 Eden Villa's Dun Laoghaire. I'm trying to find out about his family and where he was from and same info about Christina Clinton. I cant seem to find any records on them, not in the 1901 or 1911 census.

I have no dates of births for them, but I can tell you their eldest daughter Theresa/Teresa was born in 1921. They had about 12 kids, two sons died in the house as the result of a tragic gas accident in 1944. Richard was always away in the Merchant Navy. They moved to the UK in 1955
