I am trying to find out more about the Hensons who were concentrated around the Kimberley area of Nottingham. Largely mining stock. Trying to cross-check if any were involved in mining accidents. Any pointers, much appreciated.

Deb, I hope it's OK if I contact you directly off list to chat more about your research. I'm really interested to find out more, especially the project's community-driven focus. Not looking to undertake an oral history project myself, more of a review of existing work, but also looking at new initiatives - such as yours. Hope this is OK.

I am also interested in the topic area, currently investigating oral history of lace workers in the East Midlands, particularly looking at the demise of the industry in the latter half of the 20th century.
