Thanks Glensman, its actually Arthurs dad John and mother Jane im after. But ill take this aswell! Thanks so much!

If the burial record was clearer id be able to ask Magheralin if they have it, but dont want to go there incase Kilwarlin on the record doesnt meant buried there.

Yes that is a picture of what i attached. Im unsure though if hes burial ground is in Kilwarlin. From what i can find, drumnabreeze aint kilwarlin. So im assuming kilwarlin is his burial ground, which would make that the graveyard at St Colmans. Unless Im reading this register completely wrong, as it doesnt have alot of information on it

Thanks

Thanks so much Aghadowey.
Do you think the picture that i posted, could possibly be where John Smyth is buried? Kilwarlin I have been told is the name of St Colman's on the Bottier road, moira, where I am led to believe is the only burial ground for RC Magherlain parish. Hopefully this information is correct.
Thanks Laura

Down / RC Parish of Magheralin Burial records
« on: Sunday 15 September 24 14:04 BST (UK)  »
Hey everyone, wondered if someone would be able to advise me on burial records for magheralin RC parish records. In particular the years of 1867, 1885, 1891, 1904, 1928. Are these available. Im trying to find where my 2, 3, and 4 great grandparents are buried. I have come across one for the year 1866, top of the parish book states funerals, Then he is listed as 23rd January, John Smyth Drumnabreeze then the word Kilwarlin. Going of his Death cert Drumnabreeze is his address, But unsure what kilwarlin stands for. Would this be the actual graveyard??
Ill attach a pic for handiness.
Hopefully someone can help me. Thanks so much

Hey I'm picking up on a bit of research my aunt done quite a while ago. She informed me that she was sent to a Catholic Chapel in dromore, as that's where all catholic parish records went. She remembers being there but can't remember the name of the place. She also got what she was looking for. I'm wondering would anyone know the name of the chapel

Thanks

Ive been searching for my grandmother for most of my adult life i actually cant take it in that this other sarah is more than likely her! This is crazy! So are we def thinking this is her, after seeing the percentages of them 2 matches?? Are we sure haha?

Yes the mcdowells that i have all seen a pic of, are all very very similar.

I do have simones 2 sons on there as a dna match as well ill send them

1st son.....Shared DNA: 59 cM across 3 segments
Unweighted shared DNA: 61 cM
Longest segment: 30 cM

How do we estimate DNA relationships?
Possible DNA relationships

This table shows the percentage of the time people sharing 59 cM have the following relationships:

Percent   Relationship
37%
3rd cousin
2nd cousin 2x removed
Half 2nd cousin 1x removed
Half 1st cousin 3x removed

2nd son.....hared DNA: 51 cM across 5 segments
Unweighted shared DNA: 74 cM
Longest segment: 25 cM

How do we estimate DNA relationships?
Possible DNA relationships

This table shows the percentage of the time people sharing 51 cM have the following relationships:

Percent   Relationship
37%
3rd cousin
2nd cousin 2x removed
Half 2nd cousin 1x removed
Half 1st cousin 3x removed

See i think its the same sarah to, however the dna is throwing me. I understand what you are saying about the less percentage due to being half. But my top dna match is my sarahs niece. Shes evelyns daughter. And her dna matches exactly what it should be. 1st cousin 1 x removed. Surely to god, my dads half Niece should be matching to me higher than a 2nd cousin even if only half. I just dont get it.

But because i descend from sarah and then william above that. There cant be 2 brother williams having 2 sister sarahs in the same tree. So im back believing they are the same person. Im going round and round
