There must be some connection.
My ancestor Sampson HARDY was christened 26 Feb 1810 St Michael, Sutton Bonington, Nottinghamshire. Son of Joseph HARDY & Ann UNKNOWN.
Have no marriage record but must have married my Lavinia Amelia Sykes BIRD about 1839 ? Unable to find them in 1841 census.
