Hello David,
Sorry I do not recall Frank Sn sons names, the one who attended the funeral in 1966 took the opportunity
of calling to an address in Davigdor road Hove on business.
After the funeral we went to the home of another relative, May Williams nee Winn.
The house was in Southwick, it may have been Southview rd.
With regards to Frank Seniors occupation, I do not know, as it was so long ago, being a child Jenny's hair style made more of an impression.
Cannot be of more help this time.
Ann

Hi debee7,
Believe the Frank Winn you are looking for was married  to Jennie, not sure  of spelling, but recall going to visit
as a child, with my grandmother Felicia Mabel at Du Cane Court in Balham, seem to recall they had 2 sons,
one attended my grandmothers funeral in Hove.
The time of our visit to Balham, would have been in late 1940s.
Hope this is of some assistance, Tryin

does anyone have any ,maps plans or information about Hove cemetery in early 1900s
Especially on the South side of Old Shoreham Road. The layout of grave numbers would be a great help.
Thankyou  Tryin

My mother lived for several years in Old Shoreham Road Hove, in the 1970's and 1980's Ifeel sure that Margaret Powell lived in the vicinity of the South side of the road not far from Amhurst Cres . Sorry I am not related, but you may get a lead from this .Tryin.

Hello Dbee, I am new to Roots but my little knowlege may be of interest to you. About 1947 I stayed in Lisson Grove in a flat visiting relatives. Renee Alex a bookmaker and children Josaphine and Michael. During this time we went to Madam Tuesords ?  and the Lords cricket ground plus many times to Regents park.  The flat was several levels up. Iremember uncle Ben was at Grimsby or Hull in the police force. Betty Balcombe Renees siter was married to Bob who was a military police man at one time, Ihave an idea they lived at Bognor Regis, but am not certain of that. The date Imentioned could have been 1945 put it down to me being over 21!!!!
