Oh Thanks Jen B,
I have a WW1 Photo of Mary with her daughter Clotilda & yes she became Clotilda Stephenson. I was expecting Mary & her husband to have been buried in Heworth Cemetery . Windy Nook Methodist Chapel was where Mary's sister died Florence May Turnbull...in 1966
cheers

5 Feb 1889-3 Jan 1961.....Not Buried in Heworth Cemetery. Might be linked to St Albans? Her son Norman was a Lay Reader there.

Hi Guys
1939 Has Richard Gardener Turnbull as Miner Incapacitated By Illness but at a push it could be Mariner Incapacitated By Illness as there looks to be too many letters for miner. He gives his  DoB 14 2 97

Ta Mabel . I did wonder if he was an ablebodied air man. The pension bit was confusing as I saw him as a beneficiary. His son had the same name b 1931 or there abouts.
Unson Batt .....nice one ta
