Hi Lisa,

I've not been on this website before, but thought I'd register to say that Jane Victoria Le Prevost (1864 - 1949) is my great great grandmother. She married Colour Sergeant Robert Campbell McNeill of the 29th Worcestershire Regiment on 18th April 1885. They then moved from Guernsey to Norton Juxta Kempsey, Worcestershire. Jane died in 1949 in Liverpool, and Robert died in 1904. They had nine children:

Jane Victoria McNeill 1886 – 1976
Robert John McNeill 1888 – ?
Florence Mary McNeill 1889 – ?
Margaret Alice McNeill 1890 – 1978
Thomas McNeill 1892 – ?
Elizabeth May McNeill 1894 – 1974
John McNeill 1897 – 1930
Hugh Campbell McNeill 1899 – 1918
Rodrick McNeill 1902 - 1925

Margaret Alice McNeill (in bold) is my great grandmother. She married my great grandfather Frank Smith, (1887 - 1951), and they had one child, a son named Robert Arthur Smith (1916 - 1995), who is my paternal grandfather.

You will find Jane Victoria Le Prevost and Robert Campbell McNeill under 'Generation 10' on this website: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~egreef/leprevost.htm

Hope this helps.

Russell Smith.

p.s. I also have an ancestry.co.uk account, and I can give you access to my family tree if you like. It might help you with your research, as the work I have done on the Le Prevost side of the tree is considerable.
