Hi Jendor,
Also tracing the Ackerman Line, I agree with you 100%.
Additionally I have (Elizabeth,William Joseph Joan Edward)'s Father Lawrence 1746-1797 as the son of John Akerman 1717-? and his mother Jane Travis.
Further Generation back, the afore mentioned John Akerman's parents were Richard Ackerman and Mary Down.

Hi bellbird and Althea,
This is my 1st post on this forum and came across your posts while trying to kill off some of the distant relatives, I am related on a line back to a Lawrence Akerman sic b 1746 in Bridport, Dorset, England. His brother John Akerman sic is a direct ancestor of both your lines I believe. Have you researched this far back to confirm this?
