Sorry - I checked both the Wishaw Relief Church and Bonkle United Presbyterian but could not find the baptism entry for John Miller.

I am the grandson of James McGrogan and Isabella Close and now live in Canada.. I have many close relatives  (McGrogans and other) still living in Ireland, most around Belfast.  What is your connection?

My grandfather was John Close, the son of James Watson Close II and Sarah Lawlor, James watson CloseII, was the son  of James Watson Close and Susannah Hedley...James Watson Close was the son of John Close and Elizabeth Davis of Magheragall then Belfast  ...I too have many Close Rellies, in Belfast, Australia, England and here in Canada where I live....would love to compare notes with you.

Hi,I have an Elizabeth Close of Armagh , whose father was Patrick. She married a Lamont, Daniel, from Antrim. Do you have an Elizabeth Close in your records?

Thomas was born abt 1840 in Armagh, married in Dundee on 15 Apr 1863, St Andrew's Catholic Chapel. He died 10 Feb 1923, Dunfermline, Fife, Scotland.

His father, Daniel was born abt 1816 in Antrim, and his mother Elizabeth Close was born abt 1819 in Armagh.
