If you don't spot it due to clouds, you can use this website to find out when it's next viewable, which is quite often actually.

It looks like a large bright star that slowly moves across the sky.

Handwriting Deciphering & Recognition / Deciphering birthplace in Middlesex
« on: Friday 08 January 16 20:13 GMT (UK)  »
Hello

I'm trying to figure out the birthplace of an ancestor in Middlesex - he's the plasterer in the middle line. It looks like St Pauls but I can't read the last word. Chapel? Any ideas are greatly appreciated. I'm hoping to figure out exactly where he says he was born in order to match up with possible births.

Thanks
Helen

Hi Darrelle

Thanks very much for posting. No we aren't Brethren, but I was aware that David Scarlett was and that he objected to signing up. We have lots of details about his family but I don't know much about him would be very interested to learn more. I have the inquest and his death certificate that I'm happy to share.

In order to send or receive a message a new rootschat user has to post three times. If you wouldn't mind posting two more times, a smily face will do, then I can send you my email address.

Cheers
Helen

Thanks very much for finding the inquest! It makes for sad reading though, it sounds like he was heartbroken.

Thank you
Helen
