My fathers family are Byron from Ballina, Co. Mayo
They have settled in Leeds over the last century. Regrettably, there are now more Byron's here than in Ireland. Most of my fathers generation, were married in St.Annes, as the Woodhouse area (St.Annes parish) was the only area in which Irish were able to settle at the turn of the last century. Over time, the Irish spread to the York Road area (Mount St. Mary's)
 I have never heard the names of the people you are looking for mentioned though

I am planning a visit to Leeds this June.  I would like to research my Nallan/Byron/Moran/Dixon/Edward family while I am there.  The Nallan and Byron families came in 1848.  They married in St. Anne's Church.  They had 10 children.  The Nallans then  married into the Moran/Edward/Dixon families.  The churches they attended were Parish Church and Mt. St. Mary's.  Could anyone suggest where I should go to get the best research done.  I know that there might be a possibility that there are cousins still living in the area.  Any suggestions would be  most appreciated.
